There are a lot of things in this life I will take chance with but not my life. However, I had to find out after the fact that taking chances with money you don’t have can sometimes translate into taking chances with your life. These thugs had me held at gunpoint they were talking about how if they just put a bullet through my head they could take all my stuff and sell it off and send my body to the bottom of a creek.

I gambled away their money. And I didn’t tell them either that was what was the worst part about it. I told them I was going to be ‘investing’ it. It was a guaranteed return I told them, plus five percent. And it wasn’t. When they left my house after that night though I got my head back together and I sat down at my computer and found car title loans in San Antonio, Texas. I found out that I could get a car title loan instantly and the money would be in my hand the same day. I didn’t need a credit history, the car title loan lenders didn’t care about that. All they cared about was that I owned the title to my car.

So I’m not taking chances like that anymore. I never really fancified myself a con artist. I always considered myself a master strategist but I have been known to do this type of stuff before. I just never got to this point. Most people, when they lose to the con they just give up. I wish these guys had been like most people.
